Steven Patrick Morrissey seems to fit the bill. His bio was the indie movie England is Mine . Why would you list Morrissey's full name? Doing so actually makes him less easily recognizable. There have been other famous people with the surname Morrissey (like Andy Warhol's filmmaker, Paul Morrissey)... |

I like Billie Eilish, but she isn't particularly unusual/unconventional by alternative/indie standards. That said, I don't really understand the point in comparing her to funk metal bands like Primus and Mr. Bungle, that's silly. tbh, Eilish's atmosphere/vibe really reminds me of some of the trip ho... |

I'm normally very hesitant to speculate that celebrities are on the spectrum if they haven't explicitly said they are or think they might be, but one person I'm really wondering about is Justin Broadrick of the industrial metal band Godflesh, the post-metal/drone band Jesu, and formerly of the grind... |

Different genres of music emphasize and value different things, which is why I think it can be so hard for fans of some genres to get into others. Country certainly isn't my favorite genre. I would take punk, jazz, singer/songwriters, house, and ambient over it. But there are some country artists I ... |

I most wanted Rage Against the Machine, Roxy Music, and MC5. Since you could vote for 5, I also voted for Radiohead and The Zombies.
Nice to see Roxy Music get recognition, I'll look forward to their segment. Otherwise, oh well... no accounting for taste, I guess. |

How about ancient Goth music? The term actually has an interesting lineage. When the Visigoths and Ostrogoths were conquering, they were considered barbarous wreckers of civilization, especially by the Romans. Because of that, "gothic" became an insult in Europe for anything that was basi... |

If you want some Jewish metal, I definitely recommend Orphaned Land - they're an Israeli prog/death band with a strong interest in reconciliation and Middle Eastern religion (Judaism, Islam, Christianity). |

Interesting. Hopefully we'll get some neo-industrial soon as well. I still say Skinny Puppy was the most technically advanced 80's group. It would be nice to see a new gen in North America try to push the technical aspect of electronic music in a serious way again. This just came onto my radar - it... |

The N word is used to make people feel worthless, to threaten their physical safety and wellbeing, to remind them of destructive myths about intelligence, and to recall a long history of violent oppression. The term "anti-vaxxer" is a way of (rightly) saying someone is an idiot, a scumbag,... |
