Sandpoint, I'm so glad to hear you won your case; I was posting on your thread a while a back when you were having terrible problems with those neighbors. What happens now that you've won -- are the neighbors going to be held to complying and modifying their behavior? I hope so, though it's a diffi... |

I have a pair of Flareaudio Aluminium Isolate ear plugs and they are excellent. I couldn't afford the Titanium ones, but I'm not sure they would be much better than the ones I have. They are visible, but as everybody where I work knows I have a diagnosis then that isn't a problem for me. https://ww... |

I've had a good run with both for the past 3 months.. Before hand it was usually just depressive episodes, but anxiety has been playing a big role lately as well... Combined, it's a nightmare..... |

Sirens don't entirely freak me out unless it's close by. However, things like doors being slammed (or closed loudly) , fire alarms, and motorcycles make me quite distressed. Also, the skype ringing noise. That one is probably the worst for me. I agree, doors slamming are the devil... Hate it... |

I hope you will post the outcome with the advocacy group. This is a cautionary tale for us all. When I try to advocate for myself, I usually make things worse. I will try to stay on top of those results and post updates without compromising case data.. I had been absent from the forum for a while d... |

Deliberately making a noise to upset a little autistic child, what insensitive a***holes. Sorry, I just felt wound up when I read that. Why are some people so immature and nasty? I hope you get that dealt with soon. It's not fair on you or your daughter. Hugs. Highly insensitive, I agree! ............ |

My now 5 year old autistic child has decided to use a headset to help drown out outside noises. She was NEVER one for having ANYTHING on her ears, but, within this past month that changed some. She was on her tablet and had become aggravated at some loud stomping she heard on the stairwell outside (... |
