Also I'm a bit confused by your syntax here: ∀x∈U(φ(x))≡(U→φ(x)) ∃x∈U(φ(x))≡({x∈U|φ(x)}≠∅} ∀x∈ℕ(x=x) Is the above intended to mean the same things as the following? ((∀x∈U)(φ(x)) ≡ (U→φ(x)) ((∃x∈U)(φ(x))) ≡ ({x∈U|φ(x)}≠∅}) (∀x∈ℕ)(x=x) If not, please clarify your original versions of these by adding...

Hello all! I was wondering what people think of the neo-logicism, the idea that all of mathematics can be derived from logic. I have outlined a potential formulation of this idea below. Please critique and offer suggestions. I took several courses in logic and set theory years ago. I'm a bit rusty ...

Please critique and offer suggestions. ((x∧y)∨(¬x∧¬y))→x=y ((x∨y)∧(¬x∨¬y))→x≠y U={x|ɸ(x)} ∀x∈U(φ(x))≡(U→φ(x)) ∃x∈U...

You’re wasting your time with these nutters. You won’t win. “The sun is hollow” would be enough for me to end that conversation. I like to read up on and contemplate conspiracies. Believing them is another story. I think I do it just to troll them. It's funny to watch them react. Sometimes they wri...

I voted for Trump and I plan on doing the same in 2020. After that, I am fully ditching the Republican Party for the Constitution Party.

Thanks for the advice everyone. He has dismissed any piece of evidence that I present to him.

Sometimes I do it just to laugh at their ad hoc explanations. I have become addicted to debating flat earthers and geocentrists for entertainment purposes.

A while back I was debating a geocentrist on Twitter named Matty Lawrence. He has a website at https://www.mattysparadigm.org . After establishing that the distance to the Sun can be found, he told me the sun's mass cannot be measured or established. He also said that he believed that the Sun is hol...

What do you all think about this achievement? I am flabbergasted that they were able to chain 7 NOR gates together in a yeast cell to begin with! :o :o :o

I went to a Starbucks located in Fort Collins on Tuesdays and Thursdays last semester. I was fine when it was sparsely occupied, but when more people started showing up it became stressful and I left to go to college for the day.

My favorite time period is the Planck Epoch which is from 0 to 5.39*10^-44 seconds after the beginning of the universe. All four forces of nature were unified into a single "superforce". There was no matter and causality did not even exist. Micro black holes were constantly being created a...
