To quote Stephen Fry (who also has cyclothymia): "The mood is your own personal weather, and it's very like the weather: if you go outside and it's raining, it is real, you can't walk it off and suddenly it's sunny, the weather makes up its own mind... We all know that it can be a damn nuisance when...

Would I be correct in saying that both of you have been in, or are in abusive relationships... I did not see it at all as a "rape culture" book that you claim. its a love story and a romance.. did you both read all 3 books? He never rapes her or even does anything sexual with out her expressed perm...

From what I've read, mood stabilisers tend to stop (hypo)manic moods more than they do depressive moods, but they should have an effect on both. Obviously that's different for each person and the many various meds out there.

Oh it's certainly borderline abusive in Twilight, I'll agree there, and this is just the same because it literally is Twilight fanfiction which later got published somehow. I should note that I have nothing wrong with a consensual D/s dynamic (quite the opposite, in fact, I enjoy such things very mu...

open source and indie developers are already kicking the butts of billion dollar industries, i dont see why that is going to change. The issue with indie open source developers is that they consistently fail to provide the type of polished end user experience you would get from, say, the iPhone. Pr...

UNIX is the future. I personally think that Google will release a full Linux based desktop OS at some point and kill Windows with it, but we shall see. Either way, what we must remember is that our current operating systems have only been around for, what, a decade or two? Within the next decade eve...

It's Twilight fanfiction with the names changed. While I think book_noodles's "poorly disguised affirmation of rape culture" comment might be a bit much, it's certainly a crappy book and it's irritating everyone's talking about it like it's good BDSM erotica when it just is not - it certainly gives ...

http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/technology-17894176 The BPI has taken the major ISPs to court and forced them to block the beloved Pirate Bay. Getting around it is almost as difficult as typing this URL into your browser instead: http://tpb.pirateparty.org.uk/ Or, if BT end up blocking it too, just going ...
