It should be noted that the comedian made mention she was a feminist during her act. Her murder was likely a gender hate crime, perpetuated by the same frustrated, entitled type of young men who are encouraged to stew in their own toxic juices on WP.

No one should ever be forced to grow another organism inside their body against their will. Honestly, having read abortion debates for years and years, I see a lot of men with pregnancy fetishes who like the idea of forcing women to breed. They cloak it with religious and emotional appeals, but ther...

I am the same. Autistic people tend to be less susceptible to social conditioning than NTs, which means while the other girls repressed their desire for those things deemed "for boys", you did not. What you are is an authentic person.

No matter what definition is used, aborting it still means killing it.

In your sentence, "it" referred to "child". I was pointing out that whether an embryo or fetus is a child is a matter of opinion. Language matters.

But aborting a child does mean killing it. People disagree over whether an embryo is a child, and whether or at what point a fetus is a child. That's why it's best to let the adult human who has the embryo or fetus inside her body decide what to do with it. It doesn't require that anyone agree or d...

No one would have to "make sense of it" if I offed myself. I lost my dad last year and my mom the year before that. My husband lost his job the same month my dad died, and two weeks later I woke up with the symptoms of MS. We sold everything and moved abroad so I could get medication witho...

I dislike it whenever the concept of feminism is used to tell women what we can't do - we can't wear high heels, we can't be at-home parents, we can't use the word "pretty", etc. Feminism should free women to be ourselves and make our own life choices, not replace an old set of societal ru...

That's a little like trying to "get someone into" being gay, imo. You are or you aren't. You can experiment, but the experimenting itself doesn't turn you gay. It can only unlock what's already there.

It can be role-playing for some. For others it's an expression of who they are.

Wow, that kinda crap will cause a chick to get cut ... You get a dude with a psycho wife at home man, she will cut you. Up there thinking you're making moves on her man or some crap. This is why married people only mingle with other married people -_- I don't know the kind of people who actually at...

Doesn't sound unreasonable to me. She's given you cause to be concerned by doing drugs in the past, and if this was prescribed medication then it should be simple for her to show you the bottle. Just because she may not have liked it doesn't mean you were wrong.

Try talking to men who are already in committed relationships. Any man who truly loves his partner won't hit on you.

That's not quite the issue. The issue is with being perceived as flirting, so talking to a man in a committed relationship only adds another layer of inappropriateness.

As a male I've been cooking since about age 11, I love talking recipes. It amazes me most men can't cook and have no clue how to prepare a meal. I love experimenting with recipes from other cultures and have grown crops specifically so I can get authentic ingredients for foreign foods. Personally, ...

I usually have much more in common with men than women. Women my age want to talk about kids and recipes. I want to talk about video games and the latest sci-fi movie. It's hard to talk to men too, though, because trying to make friends with them is usually interpreted as sexual interest. :? Frustra...

It makes sense that a more structured, rules-based relationship might be appealing to autistic people. I wonder if there is a preference in terms of role... it appears that most here are submissive.

My point is that this case is being used to illustrate how uncaring NT parents are...I was trying to point out that this is a one off due to the lady's serious mental instability Oh, I agree. I think this mom would have flipped out, regardless. It's probably her lawyer that's pushing the autism ang...
