I also agree that the use of the term bone chilling is also ridiculous click bait.

This is actually good news for me. I am trying to prove that Autistic people are the original design. How would a mutation absorbed from a non-Sapiens member of the genus Homo offer any insight into what's "the original design" for H. sapiens? The earliest H. sapiens wouldn't have possess...

I am trying to prove that Autistic people are the original design. It seems to me that, for most of human history, Aspies might have had an advantage. My theory is that in order to survive prehistoric days, you had to have Autistic traits. I also think that the socially based thinking that is most ...

I have been doing a lot of research on ABA lately, not because of this thread, I am just cycling special interests. Now that I understand more than I did before, I am definitely not a fan of ABA. In fact, I find it much more scary now that I know what I know. Even the new ABA does not sit right with...

When someone says they need space, how long do you wait until you reach out to them again? Recently read that some people who ask you for space don't like it when you don't reach back out after some time. I usually wait until they reach out to me. But if I have not heard from them in a month or six...

Hmmm. Thanks!

My first thought was that I don't wear trainers often, but it's better than nothing.
I wear them enough.
They have so many choices, you can probably find something that you can use. They even make them for your dog. They also make some bracelets with clasps that children cannot undo.

Where is a good place to get one of these? I've thought this might be a good idea if I'm in a bad spot and either shutdown or I'm on the edge of a meltdown
Mine is a RoadID

That's a great idea Colliegrace. I hope you never need to put it to use, but I'm glad you have it anyway! I should likely have one myself. They tried to give me one after my first stroke. I can't handle bracelets for sensory reasons. Then they said to get a necklace. I think that would be worse. I ...

I think those bracelets are a very good idea. I'd get one if I had the money. Mine is a RoadID. It was originally created by and for bicyclists who ride very long distances. The bracelets and other products they have are extremely inexpensive and if you want your medical profile on the website so t...

Why not?  Freedom of Speech permits it, and Freedom of Thought cannot be abridged.
I don’t think that is what freedom of speech is about

Why do non autistic people have to assign their own views to things that autistic people say/do? For example, if someone says "You were being annoying on purpose", when you had no idea, and they don't believe you when you say you did not know, even when you did not? What about if the pers...

I was wondering is it just a normal Aspie issue to have private emotional meltdowns and crying easily, if something upsets you and past trauma? I was scaring myself because I have been having these episodes for 3 or 4 nights now. The trigger for me being uncomfortable around women at work, I try to...

That is a really good study. Are you able to provide examples of questions you might have? That would help me figure out what to share.

I have one as well. I wear it 24/7. Mine is also attached to a website with my medical profile and first responders can also call in and get important medical information that I put on my profile. I have had first responders use it before when I was nonverbal.
