From what I have observed the people who do the most pontificating about science do not really know much about it. They go by a blind or at least myopic appeal to authority. Especially when conformation bias is involved.

Are people supposed to save their great 2nd ammendment by intimidating governors with firearms, or am I reading too much into that?

Perhaps depending on where you heard that has taken place.

I think lockdowns served a good purpose. But I think that the need for them and their usefulness is winding down. I think most people are protesting lockdowns going on too long. Most governors have been saying two more weeks. But they have been saying that every two weeks so people are getting mistr...

My respect for the University of Washington just went down.

These crap models are the same type that have been driving hysteria over the climate as well.

But "it's science" "Dah you're a science denier".

The US dollar is flat currency. When the US economy collapses the US dollar will no longer be worth 1.00 it will be worth $000.1 The same goes for the British sterling pond and the Canadian dollar. Farms will go out of business, water companies will go out of business, oil companies will go out of ...

In world chat of the online game I play, someone referred to the pandemic as a planned-demic. So I looked that up and found there's a #planneddemic hashtag. Which brought this up which is quite interesting: https://twitter.com/likearevlon/status/1249588171932925957 That video has been debunked and ...

Even the “progressive liberal” Cuomo sees the impending need to open the economy as soon as possible. I know, I pointed that out to those going on about the death cult. Apparently according to them it is only death cult trumpsters that want a timely end to the lockdown and don't care how many milli...

There was really no point in business existing and people having jobs in the first place. That was all just an illusion. Nothing will really change if there was a year of shutdown. Everything would be hunky dory coming up like roses. I feel so much better about it now. Sure, either everything colla...

Well it seems like things opening up by May means millions will die to a lot of people going on about a death cult and all that. Everything needs to be shutdown and people locked down much longer than May. If we start opening back up in May half of the US will be dead by August.

I mean that so many are fixated on trump, nothing else would take their attention away from him. Mainly because the media would mostly cover it a way that put trump in the spotlight of it.

There are many working essential jobs, taking public transportation and in grocery stores and other essential businesses. And they have most likely been getting and spreading the virus the whole month of lockdowns, thus making lockdowns close to pointless by now.
