I watched this video and found it very insightful. Even though I have a slight feeling preference, I likely really am on the border between INFJ and INTJ. Enneagram 4w5. Either one relates to me at times of growth and times of stress. I don't fit in a neat little box, but oh well. Such as life. I c... |

Hi I have Aspergers's only mildly too (especially now I'm older) but totally identify with the HSP and INFJ profiles and yet to have such a degree of empathy often makes me question my Asperger's diagnosis. Having said that - although I am full of awareness of people's feelings, I get overwhelmed by... |

You sound frustrated by this person's differing skills. It will help you if you think of communication as broken down into sub-groups: verbal and non-verbal communication. The person you ask about struggles desperately with verbal communication and eye contact but is able to express themselves fluen... |

Hey. I wear my underwear - knickers and vests inside out on my more sensitive days and that helps as seams are an issue for me. I don't like definite areas of pressure either so waistbands are an issue... If it is light pressure on your upper back that bugs you, consider weightier materials so that ... |

I was looking to see if other people with aspergers give the wrong emotional response to the one they later feel. I can't stay in a relationship because if someone is unreasonable in my mind I get really logical and frustrated. At the most distressed but seem angry. What I know I'm supposed to do is... |

Pretty much all of those things apply to me, too. I think that especially when I was younger, I had a hard time identifying the specific thing that frustrated or overwhelmed me. I'm a little better now at identifying and articulating why I'm upset. I've also learned to avoid some situations that re... |

I recently read an article in the New Scientist that said that (if I remember rightly and apologise for my glibness...) we develop the microbial landscape of our guts when we are born and that it has been shown that there is evidence that in normal mice who were tested on (can't remember the test) t... |

^Most of the student clubs are athletic. Actually, all of the student clubs are either athletic or something that I'm even less interested in. I often don't talk about my specific interests on this site since a lot of people here can be quite mean when it comes to other people's beliefs, so ... |

I am constantly alienated from the other students, and as such I have no one to talk to about the things that interest me. No one seems to be interested in New Age stuff, Mythology, Spirituality, Supernatural stuff, or my favourite video games/books/anime/manga/movies/tv shows, so I simply stay sil... |

philosophy just means "love of thought", and i do love thinking, but what i like to think about is generally of no interest to anyone else. i follow trains of thought from morning to night that lead me through all forms of speculation and observation, but i know that what i am thinking ab... |

Brilliant thread! Yes, patterns and connections are everywhere, and whilst they can be visualised in the mind, they have to be distorted and artificially ripped apart to fit the linear language that we use. I rely heavily on visual diagrams of abstract concept graphs for communication. Whilst not p... |

It IS crazy and cool!! I love the way my mind works - I can really enjoy it for its own sake - even if I can't impart it to anyone else. But at least we all understand what that feels like. We can acknowledge this stuff from a distance - I see us being a bit like giants, with our heads in the cloud... |
