Well, yes and no. I think it depends on the people you're hanging around with. If the people are weak, whiny, "victims", then, yes you can be influenced, negatively, and it can create an unhealthy environment. However, if you run across strong, resilient, "I'm not gonna let it stop m...

Hi, DiamondGirl---nice to meetcha!! I was diagnosed well over a decade, ago, at age 47 or 48 (Asperger's under DSM IV). Finding out about oneself is sorta bittersweet---it was for me, anyway---because I was thankful I finally had an answer, but I was VERY angry that no one had told me before. As fo...

Oh okay thanks. I don't have Netflix unfortunately. However, what I don't understand is, why would Epstein kill himself instead of just trying to fight, since he was so rich and was able to get off with his power before? Didn't he sort of jump the gun kind of soon? I really doubt that he killed him...

Every time a black man was arrested, he said something hurt or he couldn't breathe? The first explanation that comes into my mind is not a "playbook". It's much simpler: that they say the truth. I was just using "I can't breathe" as an example, cuz that's what George Floyd said ...

The question is, how are police to know the difference between "anxiety"\"terror", and someone intentionally disobeying requests. Whilst they are different things, they can manifest in similar ways, and it is possible that the officers involved had experienced other members of t...

First of all, I heard that they named their team after its original Native American owner (or manager, or coach; can't remember). Secondly, he KNEW they named the team in honor of him, and he was overjoyed!! Lastly, I also heard that it was NOT Native Americans calling for the change. They have, th...

Thanks for the well wishes, y'all!! Please forgive my manners----I totally forgot to come back and see if I needed to respond to anybody. To those with an official diagnosis: What symptoms have you experienced? How does it compare with other sicknesses you've had? I had it, mildly. Dry cough, a lit...

Well, strangely, it has gotten under my skin. I rarely go out and do things (other than groceries and work), so you'd think it would be no big deal; but, it's the thought that I'm told NOT to go out. People like choices. Don't get me wrong, it's perfectly understandable, but.....

If I could contract it without going critical, I would rather get it and be done with it. I have not read this whole thread. Yep, I totally know what you mean. I have it now (mildly - doc put me in isolation at home), and I was, strangely, RELIEVED, because then I didn't have to go around wondering...
