I like to constantly learn new things.
It keeps the mind active.
Unfortunately, I have a dismal memory, so only a small portion of the information is actually retained.

If the silence is too awkward I tell them I can't think of anything to say so it's all up to them now.
It takes 2 to have an awkward silence.
Often they laugh at the bluntness and it breaks the ice.

I'm very happy there are at least some good things about being there and your cat and friends are giving you lots of comfort.

It must be hard to get used to all the new routines, I'd find that difficult myself.

Saw the gp.
They've referred me on to the only psychiatrist in the district.
And I wait.
Maybe up to a year.
Alternatively, I can book a Telehealth appointment and pay $$$$$$

I'm also seeing the gp today to start the official evaluation process. Both my psych and OT think I have ADHD inattentive type.

I find I can't eat at work now.
Someone forced a piece of birthday cake on me at work the other week.
I had difficulty swallowing it, it was like my throat closed up and said nope.
