| I can't stand humming or whistling, either, especially when it's no specific tune I can recognize, just aimless whistling into the air. Also, habitual throat clearing drives me nuts. |

Full independence as others have it with my own house and a husband, is unattainable for me.
However, I do have my own life and interests and a rich, full life with a variety of experiences. I am independent in that way. That wasn't the case ten years ago. |

Many older members of my church are battling cancer, dementia and other illness. One recently passed away at age 69, just fourteen years older than I am. That isn't old at all, but his health was poor. |

| I remember watching a medical program about people who had a condition called Klein-Levin Syndrome (KLS), which caused prolonged bouts of sleeping. Also, there was some illness originating in Kazakhstan that caused similar symptoms. |
