An Aspie is an NT with neurological problems. An aspie is not NT but autistic despite the recent mini-trend of people on WP claiming otherwise. Okay then, I'm an NT with neurological problems. What I'm saying is we're all just people. I'm the same as anyone else. I just have some neurological issue...

Cyclothymia is thought to be a milder manifestation of bipolar disorder, which is a disorder often commorbid with autism. Many people with the disorder don't experience it to a seriously disabling extent in their lives, and instead use the periods of hypomania as a way to get work done and be produ...

Recently I have noticed that I also do this even subconsciously. I don’t actively try to mask or mimic others, but whenever I am in a group of people and one of them says something such as “yeah” I notice that I repeat it straight back in the same tone. The same is true with gestures for me as well.

I can’t know what you are dealing with or diagnose you over the internet, but to be honest, when I read your post, Cyclothymia or Bipolar II disorder immediately jumped to mind. Please correct me if I am being nosy or wrong here. Here are some links to articles/tests you can take if you want to find...

I’ve actually seen all of these symptoms on the sensory processing symptoms list (https://www.sensory-processing-disorder.com), and I think if they were significant and impairing enough, it could be seen as a learning disability. Although I tend to think of it as more of a processing issue, if you d...

"Sing-song" voices are often seen with kids and people on the autism spectrum, if that is sort of like what you experienced. I know someone who is not professionally diagnosed but likely has the disorder, and when he was younger he had this "sing-song" sort of voice which would g...

CBD, I believe, has something to do with cannabis.

Hi! CBD really helps according to a friend. She mentioned that as someone diagnosed with ADHD, it helped her block negative emotions she constantly feels. Don't worry, it's totally normal to be scared at first. Over time, you'll see its positive effects.

Do you mean CBD or CBT?

I’m so sorry you have to deal with this. I’m only 14, but I can definitely relate. I was diagnosed with severe OCD just after I turned 13, and I’ve had it my entire life. Like you, I take Zoloft, but it has only been about 7 months since I started. I’m really sorry it stopped working for you though....
