In some threads a woman is discussing her Aspie husband . First thing that comes to my mind is ( Haven't they been dating or working together for sometime ?? ) Isn't that a good period to know each other ? My question is not about cultures, it is really about looking at AS from different angles and... |

Just a thought...are there any hobbies or interests that you used to enjoy doing as a child that you no longer do? The toys could represent those, but the dreams might be saying that there is still energy there to be had, fun, if you can find out what it is that wants to be expressed in 'play' or a ... |

Two things I've noticed here (can't speak about other forums as I only use this one) - topics move so fast, especially in the General Autism, that I think people can get ignored, probably unintentionally, and also it takes a while for people to get to know you unless you have a very strong online 'p... |

Yeah, I have nights like that. I usually go out into the garden if the weather's OK and star-gaze or read, or check my bank statements or crafting...something quiet so I don't disturb normal people who can sleep at night (damn them! lol) But if it's actual company you want...if you live near a city ... |

I tried it once (I've had sleep problems for years) and I felt very strange after taking it, like I was getting electrical shocks in my head - it does sound weird but that's the only way to describe it. I have heard very good reports of it from other people though so I guess try it and see is the on... |

Fatty stomachs? People with fat stomachs? I don't mind fat so long as it's kept in a confined space, lol. Unlike 'muffin tops' -
Maybe they are named for some other cake in Italy http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Muffin_top

They are cute animals lemon, did you make them? A thread killer thread cannot be killed, to kill it there has to be one with the final word. And there are many murderers out there. I kill it with the final word and the final word is....oh let me think now, it must be an important sounding word to ki... |

A problem/frustration I've had all my life is the way people make such dreadful assumptions...that other people are just like them (they share the same social abilities, more or less, pick up the same social clues etc, understand the real meaning of what they say isn't what they actually say... :rol... |

Hi Paolo, it is good to see you posting :) I can't imagine what life is like for people with non verbal autism. I imagine life in institutions is not much stimulation for people living in them but I don't know anything about them really. Yes, I would think that siblings are the most 'left out' in a ... |

Have you checked out the Myers Briggs personality test based on Carl Jung's typology? http://www.personalitypathways.com/type_inventory.html That's a short test but there are longer, more comprehensive versions online if you google 'em. I think your 'type' has a lot to do with whether you have a hig... |
