Hi BubbaHoTep, welcome to WP. I'm fairly new here too, hope you enjoy the place. I agree about what you said "To all young aspies, hang in there. Life does get better." I think that's true. I'm approaching 50 and my worst years were my school/college years, I think it's the time in a person's life w...

'However they have not made any decision about that. They have not even thought about it. So if you are trying to determine their desires in that regard, ofcourse you cannot determine it because they do not even know themselves'. Sorry, not sure how you do the quote thingy. Yes, it is a good point, ...

Definitely!

Thanks everyone, for your thoughts and ideas about this. I don't know, I think I was better at this as a kid than I am now, or maybe just braver. I find social situations sometimes easier than others, depending what mood I'm in. (Do other Aspies find that?) Sometimes they are like torture and I long...

Thanks everyone, for such a warm welcome. I must say that this is a very friendly site. Cats, well, they have always been a bit of an obsession! I collect cat pictures and pottery cats too, so our home is a bit like a temple to the cat goddess  We have two of the little critters, both black and...

Hi, I am new to this site, and glad I found it. I have undiagnosed Aspergers, and am 49 years old, live in Wales with my cats and husband (not necessarily in that order :) I love crafting and painting, this is something I have started in the past couple of years and is now the most important thing i...

Hello everyone, :) I'm so glad I found this place. At last, people who understand :D I need some advice re: social situations, and figure you guys are the ones to ask. I am OK one-to-one if I'm talking to someone I know, but if another person comes up, and starts talking to other person, I feel kind...
