Tutorial Making?

Im thinking of making a Youtube Programming Tutorial channel.
Is it worth doing?
I have the following:
Macbook
HD Microphone
HD Screen Recorder

I dont know how I would be able to cope with a job later on in life.
So I think tutorial making on Youtube would be a good way to go.
Im not bothered if it earns me very little money or allot of money (because im doing this because I want to).

Is it hard to get sponsor for it?
I can speak and present professionally.
Im reasonably good at web design.
So I could make a whole website dedicated to tutorials for programming.
