Any Science Fans?????

Hi everyone,

I was wondering if there were any Aspie science fans out there? If you are one, what is your favorite type of science? My favorite type of science is "Physical Science," like chemical interactions, water and solutions, and matter.

Cosmology at one end, and sub-atomic physics at the other.
(Though they tie in very nicely)

Not quite a fan, as such, but the interest spills over from philosophy.

We appear to have a universe.
Why, and what exactly (or even approximately!) is it?

The philosophy of science is also a fascinating topic.

My favorites: biochemistry, evolution, anthropology (took a philosophic anthropology class as an optional while I was in university taking visual arts...) and, since about a year or 2 ago, computer science.

I like quantum physics.

I'm into general Physics. The only problem is getting all the equations right. I'm interested in all science, but Physics in particular. I'd also get a grade A in military science, no problem... if it was an AS Level course

I love to read about artificial intelligence. I have became very familiar with this particular science. I guess you could say that it is one of my obsessions!

physics and chemistry were my favorite classes in school before i graduated. another branch of science i like is astronomy (moon star,and sun events)

I am not much of a mathematician, but I love reading about physics. I love it because it explains science and how things really are.

I am bored out of my gord when I read the math theory behind it.

I like reading about physics, although I didn't like it at school, and wasn't much good at it. At school I was far keener on chemistry, especially organic chemistry. I liked learning about meteorology and glaciers in geography classes too.
I like reading about most kinds of science in fact. The Selfish Gene by Dawkins was one book that really changed the way I viewed the world.

I often find it quite frustrating reading popular books about maths. They kind of bring it home to me that a certain door has closed in my life; I did maths at university, but never made enough effort to really appreciate the subject.

I like the idea of doing "research" without any equipment besides your own brain, which is usually the case with mathematicians, as distinct from other scientists.

Lately I've been studying computer science. I especially like the study of algorithms.
I'd like to learn about Game Theory too, so I can run simulations on my computer.

I have my own bath and body company where I make my own soap, lotions, and makeup. We sell them in my retail store.
I will soon pack up my lab though and just sell wholesale. My day job as a graphic designer is taking over my life!! !

Astronomy, geology, climatology. At one point I gave serious consideration to pursuing a career in either climatology or geology. However, both of them required a lot of math (I was a university student at the time), and I suck at math. So I went into library science instead.

Mostly chemistry or biology, though physics is also fascinating. One of my obsessions (and you've probably heard me talk about it before) is infectious disease. I enjoy reading biology textbooks on my own spare time and follow the paths of epidemics around the world via the computer. However, I could never turn biology into a career for me. It is too much of a hobby.

Physics is fascinating, though I am not very good at it. Everything from science that I do not understand otherwise can be explained in physics. If I could do physics, I probably would. It is interesting that the world works in a series of mathematical equations that can be explained and brought to life in science, particularly (and most obviously) in physics.

I love science. I like the life and earth sciences the best.
