Dying to get internet network without USB adaptor

This is really starting to kill my sanity. In the Haven I already described part of the problem. I am trying to get rid of this broken computer I am useing right now, before it burns over again and costs me 400+ dollars to fix something I don't want to keep. Comcast are such jerks! Their service is horrible! Everyone we met says so to, and what they gave us last Saturday, more than prooved their uselessness to us.

I'm useing a USB adaptor card made for lap tops on my desk top , and want so bad to stop useing it. DSL, won't allow me my own account under the same roof. Which hurts. When I use it on my new one, it will not visit more than one web sight it seems. It's very sluggesh at loading things with that USB card. Me and my mother both want our computers to run smoothly without the lag, disconnects and frustration. THIS SUCKS!

It's killing me! It took me four pay checks for that new one, only so I can't use it. With DSL and this USB card, it slows down mom's connection to. If I have no choice but to never ever use my new comp, let me just say... "Can I leap off the 20 storie building and die now?"

If someone knows how I can have internet connection without causeing hell for both me and mom at the same time. let me know? Please? *begs*

Easiest solution would be to go buy another network card, they are extremely cheap. Then update your network drivers from the manufacters website, as the default Vista drivers are broken.
