Thinking of Upgrading PC
I just read that you said you only have two fans in the computer? Thats not enough. A third will vent a lot of dust in the future.
You can get a third fan for probably 10 bucks at best buy. Get a 120 millimeter one(4 inches?). See in kips picture, right above the graphics card, at the back? You should have a fan back there. They are easy to plug in too.
But first, we should find out if you have a hardware problem. I am going to guess that you dont: its all due to dirt because your other computer failed at the same time.
Things are going well, in case you were wondering. You are making good progress.

Well I mangled the PC with setting changes and viruses (changes to make it work not matter what don't ask me how I did it I can't remember...) Anyway it just got to 70 and speedfan was showing little fire icons next to it plus it was up that high by just turning it on... And yeah the fan on the heatsink thing or whatever it's called is making odd noises and what not... On another note it seems my computer is so old that none of the sites I go to even mention it like it never existed and the ones that do don't sell it :/ it's only odd b/c other older PC's are being sold
Anyway I don't have a lot of money if I did I would buy myself a nice PC and be done with it but I wanna give this little one to my Bro and make that other one work so I can use it properly...

I googled the PC and got a mile of pages... weird...
One question, may I add... What EXACTLY is getting that hot? CPU? Chipset? HDD? It makes a difference what's broken. If it's the CPU, yea, thats a little high, but not insane, most comps run anywhere between 40C and their shutoff. If it's the chipset, well, no wonder the thing turned off on you! And if it's the HDD, suffice it to say, NOT GOOD!
But... if you could prtsc the CPUz programme while running, that would help us tell you what you need to be looking at.
Also, did you ever own one of those old grey cartridge nintendos? If you did, then you'll know how to get the dust out.

Yeah I'm pretty sure I got all the dust out and I don't know how to find out exactly what is getting too hot exactly but I know when I blow air on the heatsink fan on the bottom the temp that says 50-70+ goes down right away so I think that that's what it is... I can' be certain I don't know how to read the speed fan beyond base temps but it does give me temps for 4 different things it just says Temp1 Temp2 etc....
