Arranged order-wise relatively, but maybe not exact:

Mulholland Drive

Boogie Nights

Eternal Sunshine

In Bruges

City of God

Brick

Jacob's Ladder

Motorcycle Diaries

Rules of Attraction

The Professional

Aliens

Eastern Promises

Southland Tales

Half Nelson

Full Metal Jacket

Bull Durham

Caddyshack

The Terminator

Transformers: the Movie (the old animated one)

Gorky Park

Edit: wrote my list before reading those of others, upon reading them I realize I neglected The Usual Suspects. That would be around the back end of the top 10. Shawshank Redemption might make the top 20 as well.

This is just the order that I thought of them in. There numbered simply so that I know how many I've mentioned.

1 - Inception (my favourite)
2 - The Prestige (probably my second favourite)
3 - The Dark Knight (probably my third favourite)
4 - Batman Begins (I hate how most people overlook this excellent movie due to the sequel)
5 - Schindler's List
6 - Saving Private Ryan
7 - Apocalypto
8 - Toy Story 1
9 - Toy Story 2
10 - Toy Story 3
11- Terminator
12 - Terminator 2
13 - Avatar in 3D (not such a great story but the effects blew me away)
14 - Star Wars
15 - Star Wars The Empire Strikes Back
16 - Star Wars Return of the Jedi
17 - Goldfinger (the rest of the James bond movies would be close to number 20)
18 - Jurassic Park
19 - A Bug's Life
20 - The Matrix

Edit: Just noticed I neglected the Indiana Jones original trilogy. They'd probably replace the Toy Story trilogy.
