Anyone ever see the Christmas movie Trapped In Paradise with Nicholas Cage, Jon Lovitz and Dana Carvey? Easily one of the top 2 or 3 Christmas comedies I've seen and maybe top 10 or 15 comedies in general.

Cage, Lovitz and Carvey are all brothers and Lovitz and Carvey just got out of jail. Lovitz is a pathological liar and Carvey is mentally retarded and a kleptomaniac...Cage is a reformed criminal working as a restaurant manager...and they go on a road trip to a place called Paradise, Pennsylvania...won't give anyway anything that happens for those of you who haven't seen it.

It's very similar to Groundhog day as far as the cynical guys in a small town angle...only it's more raunchy.

What makes the movie so funny, besides the one liners, is the casting. I think Lovitz and Carvey were together on Saturday Night Live around the time the movie was made.

Yes I've seen it, its a good one. Funny how all the people are so nice that they start feeling bad about what they did lol, also how they are "pushed" into the spirit of Christmas, with the Christmassy sweaters etc lol
