Do you think that Two and a Half Men is better with Ashton Kutcher, or was it better with Charlie Sheen?

"I would rather punch myself in the balls really, really hard than watch five minutes of Two and a Half Men" seems to be missing from the poll.

And you had to tell us this why? Oh I know it was to show people how
smarter you are than people who enjoy the show, clever.

Hey, he's not the only one!

I'd rather punch him in the balls too...

I watched a few with both. With Charlie Sheen it also had family(ish) and him working hard to get the girl. Ashton is just like all his other parts, dumb pretty boy everyone wants to jump. The only twist is now he has cash. So Charlie Sheen is "life copies art" and Ashton Kutcher " like follows art"

I actually haven't seen it with Ashton, and i think that Charlie is a racist child-man, but i've already made up my mind: Sheen > Ashton.

I for one are going buy season 3,4,5... and up to the last one with Sheen in it. The rest = cannot care less. It is as if Sheldon Cooper/Dr. House/Abby Sciuto would die - IMO there is nothing left to watch.

I've not seen the new ones, but Charlie gets my vote.

Here is why.

He was the show.

This is a bad concept sitcom. The kid is annoying. The loser brother is pathetic. Mom is classic dominatrix/b***h. Sassy housewife a redone cliche.

Charlie's two-dimensional character was the glue that kept the show together. His house, his typical exploits, and everyone else had their roles revolve around it.

Without him, all Ashton can do is try to fill the void, and it's clear they are going with the male version of T&A to keep the show going.

Most shows don't survive the loss of a central character. I think the same will happen here.

I know I'm in the minority here, but I prefer Ashton. Rather than being an alcoholic sex maniac like Charlie's character was, Ashton's character is more naive and innocent, and I find that kind of thing more endearing. From what I've seen, the show's brand of humor has remained the same - the only difference is, now I actually care about the main character.

I'm gonna say Charlie Sheen because he made "Two and a half Men" the funniest show today. Ashton Kutcher is OK in the role as the new guy. Probably I should see more of the show to find out.

I agree with Fnord here.

I found her character adorable(yes even with the creepy stalker thing/what happened in Paris)and I hope that we get to see some of her after the funeral
