Just finished watching Ghost Rider on FX. I don't understand. Carter Slade was the first Ghost Rider, but from the 1800s? How can he still be alive? Does the curse allow the person to live a long life? But Johnny Blaze aged from teen to an adult. So I'm confused. After we see Carter riding off on his horse, where does he go? So the Ghost Rider is more like an antihero? I mean he's a good guy then. I wonder though if Nicholas Cage's voice is Ghost Rider, but just some digital enhanced. Is he doing his own stunts too?

Definitely want to see the 2nd one.

Ghost Rider was fun, but I wouldn't try to make rational sense of it. Nicholas Cage movies are logic-proof.

Dad and I saw the 2nd one today on 3D. Maybe 5 people were in the theatre and we went to a 2pm showing. The movie was awful! I thought that the first one was the best. I still think Con Air or The Rock was Nicolas Cage's best movies. Does anyone read reviews and go by that to see movies?

To answer your questions in order.

The cruse makes you a demon and demons do not age.

Johnny blaze was not cursed when signed the contract but when the devil needed him.

He dies. By turning his back on the devil Carter lost his powers, saving it for one last ride.

The devil could not kill Carter or take the powers back as long as Carter stays on holy ground.

The ghost rider is more like evil turned good or a Fallen angel. In the movie the ghost rider could not harm a good soul(as seen the jail)

If I recall he did half of his own Stuff and voice.

So Carter is in fact over 100 years old? :? Johnny Blaze never died in the first movie? Just his soul the Devil took. If the Ghost Rider is evil (he looks it too) he knows not to harm good people? For example, the scene with that guy harassing that young woman. What about that truck driver who crushed Johnny Blaze? Did that truck driver do something wrong? Is the Ghost Rider good now because Johnny is a good person?

Or older. He was about 45 when he became the first ghost rider.

When did he die? Blaze still has his soul. The devil only takes it at the time of death.

I won't say the rider is evil. more of a wild dog that can only be aimed. His job is to go after damned souls and demons that escape hell. The soul gaze powers are not meant to be used on people but Johnny was learning to control the powers and he would have attacked that y with or with out the powers.

What truck? Please remind me.

So really Johnny is a good person even when he transforms to Ghost Rider? So that truck driver in the movie was a demon and that's why Ghost Rider killed him by that penance stare? The man who was about to do harm to that young woman he too died, because he was just a bad person who murdered a lot of people? So Ghost Rider isn't bad. He may appear scary, but he's not evil. He kills bad people with that penance stare. How come he didn't kill the inmates that were in the same cell as him when he transformed? I know that he pointed to one boy and said innocent. But what about the rest?

Did anyone see 2nd movie?

Movie him is good. Not sure about comic but I think the devil has rules he must follow to get souls and the rider can only harm those who are evil.

The guy he did stare down bad killed before and was going to hell for it. The inmates he was lucked in with were thugs and punks but not true evil. He transformed because the area he was in was full thugs and punks who's collactive evil was enough to make him.

Great movie! Would love to have that as a job!

Yeah I always wondered that. I mean if someone is immortal how do they age? SLOWLY? or reach a certain age and stop ageing?

I haven't seen the second one. Not sure if I want to. I have heard it was bad. Going to wait until it's on Bluray/DVD and then buy it. Has anyone seen it?
