What are your top 5 ships? (Canon or non-canon.)

A ship is two characters you like together as a couple Canon means they're actually together in the book/movie/TV show/etc, non-canon means they're not actually a couple but you think they should be together. Here are mine (so as to avoid giving away spoilers, I'm not going to say which are canon and which are non-canon):

Kyo x Tohru (Fruits Basket)
Beast Boy x Raven (Teen Titans)
Shadow the Hedgehog x Maria Robotnik (the Sonic the Hedgehog games and cartoons)
Danny Fenton x Valerie Grey (Danny Phantom)
Yuki x Kaname (Vampire Knight)

I'm not normally into the whole "shipping" thing, but somehow my current obsession Community has brought out this side of me. I really like seeing Vicki and "Fat" Neil as an item. Also, I might be in the minority with this one, but I'd like to see Annie and Abed get together.

Other than that, I really liked Spider-Man/Peter Parker and Mary Jane in the 2000's Spider-Man trilogy. Aladdin and Jasmine would be my favorite Disney movie couple. And somehow I can't help but root for George Michael and Maeby as a couple on Arrested Development, in spite of their, er, connections.

Oh I have so many couples I ship. Shipping has always been one of my biggest interests since I was little, both in fiction and in real life. I don´t really have a top 5 but the 5 I ship the most are probably:

I don't think you understood the question. I was using the jargon "ship," "canon," and "non-canon." The term "ships" in this case refers to characters in books/movies/TV shows/etc. who you like together as a couple. (For example, I ship Draco and Luna together in Harry Potter.) Canon means they're actually together, non-canon means they're not but you think they should be together. (I explained all this in the first post.)

Why do you call romantic pairs of characters 'ships' anyway? Why not just 'couples'?

Don't ask me, I didn't make it up. That's just what everyone calls it, so that's what I went with (I figured more people would understand what I was talking about that way). And really you shouldn't group everyone my age together like that (or assume that I'm the same as other people my age just because I used the terminology that everyone uses). Stereotypes can rarely be generalized accurately.

Hmm...

I always liked the idea of Willow-x-Xander in Buffy, and then it actually happened in season 3 and it was such a disappointment- not because they weren't good together, but because the show itself went out of its way to tell the viewers that Willow/Xander should never work out. I like them as BFF's, but I think the crush Willow harboured in the first 2 seasons, and the care that Xander feels for her, along with the ice cream scene in the first episode of season 2 all hinted at these kids sort of 'belonging' together. I dunno, I just think they'd make a real great couple, having better chemistry with each other than with any of the other romantic interests they encountered.

Aside from that:

All of my favorite ships are crossovers, because I find them much more interesting than canon couples. Wait... I can only pick 5? ._. I have so many ships it's not even funny...
