I watch Star Trek a LOT (it's a minor obsession), and I think my favourite character I can relate to is Wesley. He's the gifted whiz kid who Picard makes Acting Ensign. He seems to be "special", though, beyond his intelligence. Do you think he might be Aspie?

Certainly Not! he can be considered annoying Extraverted Nerd as is stated in TV Tropes encyclopedia :D
As for me Wesley is definitely more ADHD than Asperger :)

But on other hand this Star Trek guy is certainly is on Autism Spectrum

He was social and he even had a love interest once, played by the lovely Ashley Judd. Barclay was the one with Asperger's.

Barlclay was typical Aspie, and Wesley might have ADHD but certainly not Asperger!

For a second I read the title of this thread as Wesley Willis! Also not autistic. Schizophrenic.

Wesley was mostly a genius & not an Aspie. I don't think Barlclay was an Aspie either thou. He was socially award but it seemed to be because of anxiety. He had Social Anxiety, traits of OCD & Avoidant Personality Disorder
