I just got back from seeing it. I really liked it. Great performance by Nicolas Cage, good supporting performances from the likes of Peter Fonda and Sam Elliott, nice visual effects, and a kick-ass rock version of "Ghost Riders In The Sky" during the closing credits. I am definitely getting the DVD when it comes out.

I thought the bad guys with blackheart were a little too easily disbatched by nick cage. to kill the air guy all he had to do was lasso his chain, and the water dude all johnny had to do was just change and he evaporated, awesome....

I'll rent the DVD but I heard it was AWFUL. I watched clips and as soon as Blackheart appeared in one, immediately thought, "This has got to be the most unintentionally funny movie since The Covenant!" The effects in the trailers looked kinda cool but seriously outdated, and Eva Mendes looked almost as bad as Jennifer Garner in "Daredevil" (which was the previous film of "Ghost Rider"'s director).

Glad you all liked it, though.
