Hey y'all...a few months back I started a petition for the programming schedule on Cartoon Network. There have already been loads of supporters, so I figured I would reach out here. I know a lot of us on the Spectrum (as well as those of ya with other conditions) watch cartoons on Cartoon Network. And if so, you probably have noticed the 90% of the channel seems to be Teen Titans Go.

It's an ok cartoon...but it monopolizes all the air time--and I'm sure, that like me, some of you have gotten sick of it. Who wants to see more Pokemon espisodes at a resonable hour? Who misses the classis toons of early CN like...Flapjack, Ed Edd Eddy, Looney Tunes, Johnny Bravo, Kids Next Door, Dexter and loads more?

Someone on the TTG message board told me that TTG is a pretty good representation of what teens are like. I don't think so. CN had a cartoon called 6Teen, that was more like what teens are like. TTG is just....nonsense. TTG has taken our beloved superheros and just made them like...trashy. It feels insulting.

If you BELEIVE and AGREE with this...then sign my petition...and spread the word!
Demand Cartoon Diversity! Feel free to read the past updates and just see how horrible CN has become.

I agree. It needs to diversify again. I loved the CN classics. Today, a lot of the shows seem like total nonsense. Along with the classics, they should also try for new, unique ideas, too. It's what made a lot of those classics so enjoyable.

After seeing the episode "The Return of Slade," I agree with you 150%. No one should have to see such an awful thing.

To be honest, I'm more interested in Adult Swim (which is of course prime time/late night Cartoon Network), which has perhaps the diversity the OP is looking for.

Just what on earth happened to the good old days when there was originality and creativity...? I feel like...that the childhood days we all used to grow up in no longer exists. This is so sad. :(
Yeah, I think we should have it diverted into Classic Cartoon Network.

In "The Return of Slade," they used a dirty writing tactic to draw in more viewers. Technically, it was a ratings trap.
In "Waffles," they say it over and over and over and where the hell is the straight-man, the ordinary character that's supposed to react to the comedic chaos it was thrown into? That's what's supposed to make this funny. If they did have a straight-man, the screen time probably lasted for only seconds.

Add early Hanna-Barbera (Tom and Jerry) and Tex Avery (Droopy, Screwy Squirrel) to your list, and I'll agree with you

Your Welcome. I wish they would show more variety myself & then maybe I'd watch it in the daytime.

I bet even Nick Toons has a lot more cartoon diversity than CN (although I might be wrong of course  )

Cartoon Network needs more action-based cartoons that have some over-arcing plot, or at least the latter. At this point the only good cartoons I watch that air on CN are We Bare Bears and Steven Universe. I'm watching more Disney cartoons than Cartoon Network. Teen Tirans go is, to me, a stupid show and I hate that they cancelled Young Justice, such a wonderful cartoon, for that. Because of toy sales. Which I didn't know existed due to lack of advertisement for said toys.

I wonder what the hell is going through the head of whomever is in charge over there. To me this is worse than when they had live action programming on the station, since at least some of those were actually interesting to watch.

Although if some of you really want to watch the old cartoons, consider talking to your provider about how you could get Boomerang. All those old cartoons that had once aired on CN are shown there.
