"Could have been" is as far removed from "Diagnosed as" as Speculation is from Knowledge.
Keep in mind that the syndrome was not even identified until 1944, and only since 1994 has it been officially recognized as a unique disorder. Thus, anyone who died before 1944 could not have been recognized as having Asperger's Syndrome, and anyone who died before 1994 could not be officially diagnosed.
I did find that John Schneider's son is officially diagnosed as having the disorder, but are there any celebrities that have admitted to being officially diagnosed since 1994 as having Asperger's Syndrome?
