"Could have been" is as far removed from "Diagnosed as" as Speculation is from Knowledge.

Keep in mind that the syndrome was not even identified until 1944, and only since 1994 has it been officially recognized as a unique disorder. Thus, anyone who died before 1944 could not have been recognized as having Asperger's Syndrome, and anyone who died before 1994 could not be officially diagnosed.

I did find that John Schneider's son is officially diagnosed as having the disorder, but are there any celebrities that have admitted to being officially diagnosed since 1994 as having Asperger's Syndrome?

Heather Kuzmich from America's Top Model is one. Others?

Keira Knightly doesn't seem to be an aspie, but she does have dyslexia, and that's a totally different disorder.

The frontman of the Vines is an aspier. (I forgot his name.) And so does the creator of pokemon.
I think you can find a list of officially diagnosed aspie celebrities on wikipedia.

Your Knightely idea seems likely, anything specific about her that makes you think she has it ?

Did Asberger ever ponder if Hitler had it , did he ever comment on Hitler ?

Sometimes I wonder if Streisand has some autistic traits , maybe not AS but still......
