Hi, I am new here.
I am an aussie with aspergers, and not really accustomed to forums.
I find that in the Northern Territory there is not much support for aspies.
So i am here to meet other australians with aspergers, although two of my friends have it also.
I still feel quite distanced from them, because not untill too long ago I was unaware i even had aspergers.
So i hope i am doing the right thing by posting on here.

Any South Australians on here can contribute to a survey for the State-Wide Autism Project whose aims are "To explore the experiences of key stakeholders with autism services within SA, and To identify actual and perceived barriers and facilitators from the perspective of key stakeholders to the delivery of optimum services to people with ASD"

I joined this forum yesterday after seeing there were a few aussies here.

I'm searching for an aspie friendly shrink in north central vic. Does anyone know of any? I'm currently undiagnosed but am 99% certain I have AS. Previous attempts at getting diagnosed have been thwarted by an incompetent medical community and I need "closure" to regain some form of sanity.
