The majority of the belgian populace speaks dutch not flemish

almost every city has it's own dialect here 
when my bf speaks his dialect and i speak mine we barely can understand each other and we only live 65 km apart.

I clearly am a part of the "Black Worm" in Depeche Mode-terminology o_O...the 'typical' European fan that likes to wear the hair and clothes black xD

@Janti: Right, hehe...my friend is from Roermond, SE Netherlands (but lived long in Rotterdam) and he says that people are always weirded out by his dialect, which is very German-influenced
so I believe you about understanding dialects ...
