Updated Site Problems with Search

Yes many things are doing better since the update.

But for me now, when I try to do a search, it always come back as 404 that's an error..... was not found on this site. Like I had briefly seen some thread about the Confederate Flag, but couldn't immediately find it in the news forum, but again using the search- 404... not found on this site.

Likewise. I don't even get the 404 message, the search result field just appears blank.

Yes, it works now. -- Is it the solar spots or the forthcoming leap second at the end of June 30, 23:59:60 hundred hours when the internet will blow up?

Hmmm for you Murihiku and Krabo who both live outside the USA, it is working, but for me I still get:

404. That’s an error.

Part of the problem must be anyone's browser settings. Cookies, for example. I don't know, I'm no expert.

I'm having the same 404 issue as posted above. To make up for this problem, I use Google site search.

Basically, if you want to limit your overall-Google-results to one site, insert "site:wrongplanet.net" before your search term. For instance, if I wanted to do a sitewide search on stimming, I'd type: "site:wrongplanet.net stimming".

Just a tip.

Your tip does not work for me on google site. The results might come up with used keyword.

Google changed the way you have to call their search which has broken search on the site. Am working on a fix.

Well it worked fine yesterday but now a search gives me a little info ads from Google but then an empty gray box for the Wrong Planet search.
