In previous years, it took a few weeks for my correct age to show up. Not a problem. But, my current age is still AWOL. I have tried deleting and reinstalling my date of birth in the user Edit Profile to no avail. At 55 years of age, my vanity appreciates the absence of aging, but I would prefer the accuracy nonetheless.

Is there something else I should be doing?

This has been voiced, on here, several times----IIRC, instead of using slashes ( / ), use DASHES ( - ) in between month day and year; AND, instead of putting the month, THEN the day, you have to put the DAY, then the month.

Thanks, CC! That helped (even though the Edit Profile page clearly shows a Date of Birth example using slashes, not dashes), though I am still apparently 54 years of age despite becoming 55 years of age more than two months ago. Whatever.... I am getting quite tired of this site's "issues."

The age validation option doesn't seem to be actively working on this site anymore. Possibly something to do with moderators, but who knows.

Yes, as others have written, the correct method is to use dashes (02-14-2017) INSTEAD of slashes (02/14/2017) despite the recommendation on the Edit Profile page. But, even that doesn't give an accurate age (I am still 54 years of age).

In an age of unwritten legisalation and invalidated data, I am uncertain why no age preference to a topic or interest is found benficial to anyone and is used as a regular means of spam attacks.
