Catching up tips?
I've been out of school for over a week now (I've been in the hospital), and I'm going back on Friday. I was wondering if there were some tips to catch up on the work I couldn't do in the hospital (I couldn't do any art, I missed some writing exercises and couldn't get all my work for English, and I missed some labs for my science class) without getting extremely stressed? I get stressed out extremely easily ![]()
welcome back to the world of non-hospitalization.
i recommend taking frequent breaks , recognizing them as being just as important if not moreso than the actual work that needs to get done.
have available to you and keep up with use of relaxants like hot tea or soothing music or incense or kitty kats or any kind of stuff like that that you like.
i would also suggest taking advantage of as much human help that may be available to you if not to help you get the work done itself then to help you with other things that you might have a need to get done, like cooking your meals, laundry, any of that kind of stuff that might seem to cut into your time or cause you additional stress..
also if you have the option to prioritize your tasks, start with some of the "easier" or faster stuff first and work your way to the harder stuff...
but if knowing that the harder stuff is being put aside for too long for little stuff actually causes you stress, try to dispearse it somewhat evenly
is this stuff helpful at all or am i simplifying it a bit much?
