Master's degree related to Digital Signal Processing?

I graduated a year ago with a BS degree in Math, but I was still 'finding myself'... trying to find a field that fits.

I also have an interest in music, so I've been writing music and playing with recording software and virtual instruments. Which has led me to study the math and theory behind music and digital music. Which has led me to digital signal processing, which seems to be the cornerstone of all this digital sound business. Anyways, I think I have found my niche... now I just have to find a school or program to study this field.

Any one know what degree someone should get to study this? I kind of want to continue the math side of things, the more math you know about DSP the better it gets, but would an engineering masters be a better choice?

You can do this in electrical and computer engineering. Maybe see if you can get into it with a masters in computer science or applied science.

Another vote for electrical engineering. I recall BS in math, physics and CS accepted into the MS program when I took digital signal processing. I also recall one guy from biology who did better than anyone in my class, who wanted to use it to design filters to process animal sounds he was studying.
