Anyone else kinda nod off, or daze off at work? This seems to happen randomly and can last for hours. It's like my eyes can't focus, I'm exhusted, slur my words and have 0 productivity?
Anyone else do this? Have tips for dealing with it?

I limit my sugar and caffeine intake, and make me a cup of caffinated green tea with 3 teaspoons of real sugar at 10 AM at 2 PM and at 4 PM. It keeps me focused.
Otherwise, I stare off in the middle distance, stim or fritter my time away on the internet at work, a definate no-no!

This tends to happen to me during meetings. I've learned that taking notes keeps me alert and stops me spacing out.
It sounds to me like maybe you're not taking enough breaks. If you feel sleepy, take a five minute break to walk outside and get some fresh air. Just sitting there only makes it worse.

If I wake up early, this always happens to me the first two hours or so of working. Once I get going it rarely shows up again... but it's tricky when my head keeps bobbing up and down and I can't focus on anything.

My favourite things to do when I'm having those days:
1.) Wash my face with cold water.
2.) Yoga in my tiny little cube. It is difficult, but relaxing and rejuvenating if I can do just a few stretches.
3.) Stair running. On any day that I can escape for a few more moments, I like to run up and down the stairs a few times.
4.) Listening to books on tape is a new thing for me, and sometimes it works, some times it doesn't.
5.) Going outside for a walk on my lunch break.
6.) Drinking tea all day long. It gives me a reason to run to the bathroom every hour or so, which helps me wake up.
