I think you nailed it their.
I think that's why I'm so spiteful of the "new economy" in the UK , Australia etc and why I'm so madly in love with Germany they still manufacture things ! I'm not so sure about all these new useless service jobs over time their just going to be outsourced to India anyways...

it's part of corporate policy to discriminate aspies...
my suggestion is to try to work on acting and fake being an nt to gain money to survive
for privacy use a greenscreen...
or at least have self defense in your home like weapons...
there is some ****ed up people on this planet.
I am unemployed at the moment, I can't keep a job for the life of me. It isn't the aspergers that's the problem, I get panic attacks a lot.
Can't seem to find any help for the anxiety.
If its any consolation, this seems to be fairly common among aspies.
My first job was in 2006, and I lasted two weeks. I haven't lasted longer than maybe 4-5 weeks at ANY job, anywhere. Thats my record. I have a university degree, and sometimes feel it was a waste of time since it isnt helping with my job related issues. It is quite literally beyond belief for me how anyone on Earth is able to work full-time, day after day, year after year, without drama. Or without anything more serious than the occasional complaint. For me it is hell on earth and there are a thousand problems which instantly manifest the very first day, any one of which could spell my doom.
Now I think it has come to the point where I have been effectively blacklisted from the entire city. I've been fired from 20+ jobs, and I'm at a complete loss to even try and make a resume given that its such a patchworkeded, mix & match, litany of failure. My periods of employment spanning this 7 years are desolate ghostowns which sporadically dot an apocalyptic wasteland. Rather than indications of achivemennt, career progress, and something to be proud of, they are for me crumbling images of ruination which symbolise everything society hates about me.
in this useless modern services based economy what do you expect time to move to Germany one of the few wealthy countries that still makes $%^&T. exports are 50% of gdp ya da Germans !

Normal people can do that. We Aspies have to be really good actors or know someone in the company who has our back, and that rarely happens. We also suck at job politics. My job history is something of a train wreck too, and I don't feel like any of my terminations were just or my fault. I am not saying that misconduct is part of the reason you lost your jobs. I have not engaged in any misconduct. It has been ALL employer bigotry, all of it.
I came across this pdf file earlier today. If you flip to pages 73-74, it lists a number of studies and their employment percentages found.
Economic Costs of Autism Spectrum Disorder
Lonermutant is on disability and works in a sheltered job (I'm from the same country as he is, and I know how unemployment is camouflaged here). He could have chosen to learn a trade instead. Many workplaces here in Norway that take in apprentices cooperate with the high schools to make it easier for both parts.

You'd be suprised how well the disadvantaged are taken care of in the muslim welfare states. The present day Scandinavian culture tells you to stribe for mediocrity (be mediocre at everything, but do not excel at anything). In a job interview, obscure criteria such as eye-contact, tone of voice and so on is far more important than how well you can do your job.

I've only heard about that in Denmark , so why are these nations so wealthy ? I can at least respect them for being honest about it Jeramy Clarkson of Top Gear Fame once said the English have made resting on their laurels a national sport , now I know where the Australians get that trait
btw lonermutant has depression I have anxiety that's why where both on disability I hope to find a low end part time job though I wonder if people will be able to put up with my behaviours ....
Speaking of "surprised " you'd be surprised how socialistic Switzerland is , it's funny libeterians invoke that country yes taxes are low their for the rich , and moderately so for everyone else though they claw that back with things like health care "private" and public transport costs.

Norway has oil, Sweden has IKEA--and the rest is history.
I wish by no means to disrespect those on disability; I was inches from being trapped in that system myself in my late teens / early 20's.
Switzerland is a welfare state as well, but I reckon that your average Joe from Switzerland appreciates hard work.
^^^
it's nice to know some people "get it" my whinny baby boomer farther who is Swiss French complains about "high taxing France" he told me he paid 8 euros for his passport photo I paid almost double for it here in "low" taking Australia (A$20) , rampant inflation you see in 2000 I paid $9
