Feh, the Meijer stores around my area aint worth too much; I go to them only because the more decent stores are too far from here (middle of freaking nowhere, my area). I'll put it this way though: Even most of their employees dont exactly think too highly of them. Not the locations around here, anyway. If you want to NOT find what you're looking for, or spend bloody forever waiting for assistance because one of the managers did something amazingly stupid with employee schedules and thusly there's nobody around to cover certain areas because some poor guy is being forced to cover 3 of them (which, apparently, is just the START of the problems... ah, the stories I've heard from those I know that work there, and the things I've seen for myself, that could be a whole other topic itself), then that's the place to go. Ugh. I dunno if that's more of a tendency for the entire company, or just an effect of them being in the crappy state of Illinois; could be either, but probably the second one. I worked for them once myself, years ago. They tried to fire someone for nearly having heatstroke. I wish I was making that up.

Granted.... to me, the Gamestops are still worse. But I also just outright hate that company, so that only says so much. Though it doesnt help that there are NINE of the damn things around here.

I've forgotten where any of this was going. Inevitably, discussion involving Meijer just leads me back to the same blob of stupid, every time. Or the Gamestops, which is a whole other, much longer rant. I'm just glad I dont have to buy games from either of these store chains anymore, for the most part. How I ever got along without digital distribution, I dont know.

I'm going to get Animal Crossing Happy Home Designer for the Nintendo 3DS, it uses Amiibo cards.

I was unfortunately unable to get any of the just released Amiibo ( my own fault...I bought a bunch of Skylanders stuff ) but I do have the Retro 3-pack paid in full on pre-order and I got a pre-order done on the Chibi-Robo!: Zip Lash Amiibo bundle so I'm still pretty happy.

That bites!

8-bit Mario is my all time favorite, he just looks so damn cool.

well I mostly wanted Olimar ( I love Pikmin, plus he's the last Amiibo I need for Mario Kart 8 ) and Bowser Jr ( which I had zero chance at since I have no Toys R Us )...
