I love Resident Evil and Dead Rising, but Dead Island is pretty fun to play too.

I'm obsessed with zombie movies, but there aren't that many zombie games to choose from. Well I love RE5 because I like Chris Redfield, although RE4 is the better game. The upcoming Walking Dead game looks pretty decent too.

Zombies ate my neighbors and Plants vs. zombies...that's about it. :P Unless Heaven Smile can be considered sort of zombie like.

Dead Island was my favorite so far. I like sandbox, open games.

Easily Dead Rising. I can handle the gore factor in zombie games/films, but not so much the suspense and jump-scare scenes. That's probably the reason I never got into the RE series.

No one else I know has ever played that game! I still play it on my SNES every once in a while. Love it!

My favorite zombie games are both Left 4 Dead games and Resident Evil 4.

I never really saw RE4 as a zombie game.

Yeah, I suppose there are many who do not, and I can't disagree, if we're speaking strictly of the pop culture understanding of zombies. If you look at a culture like Haiti, though, and the theories of 'zombies' there, it seems that really any human that is taken over and controlled by something else, and who appears to walk around mindlessly, could be considered a zombie.

The baddies in RE4 definitely don't fit the mold, particularly that of older RE games, but there are definitely some 'zombie-like' enemies to be found.

I love the Resident Evil games which used to have a lot of classic horror movie zombies. You know, normal people infected by a virus that brings them back from the dead and makes them look all bloody and rotten, and seek out victims to devour like hungry animals. Now the new games are about people getting infected with mind-controlling parasites which I don't really consider to be zombies, but they're still fun games in my opinion.

Then there's Siren New Translation which has a different type of zombie. They're still undead and all decayed and boody looking, but they attack with weapons rather than devouring flesh and they can't be killed as they only get back up after being shot or stabbed.

Then there's Yakuza: Dead Souls which is a game I want to try. It's a spin-off game in the Yakuza series about a zombie outbreak in Tokyo, and you play as some Japanese gangsters as they shoot the zombies and try to save the people they care about.

Tru dat. RE4's easily in my top games I've ever played. My first playthrough on Gamecube was such an awesome experience.
Like the best arcade game ever made with just enough depth for a console.

Dead Rising: Case Zero & Case West (XBOX 360)

Played a lot of zombie games and these ones seem to stick ;)

I loved Case Zero. How is it? Actually, I think Dead Rising's best served this way.

The only way I can play Zombie Games with *cough*cheating*cough*
though I still enjoy them.
I'd play a Zombie Game with Infinite Ammo since that is what I do dislike... I get the whole survival setting but I don't want to be conserving ammo, zombies are hardly going to conserve a corpse because it's not quite the right taste to them.
So yeah I'd totally get a Zombie Game with Infinite Ammo.
