one of the support staff was telling am today her husband was in GAME to buy a new 360 and telling them about the drive having errors and not working anymore,they had asked him what position was it in [standing up or lying down],he had had it standing and they told him it should be laid down,not standing up.
have had own one standing up,bought it nearly a year ago and its a halo 3 limited edition one-have had not one fault with it so far,dont know if all versions are different,different brand of drives etc.


I have noticed that the Hitachi Lite drives, part number GDR 3120L are the most succeptible to this type of problem. The Halo 3 limited edition might have either the Samsung or BenQ drives as it was manufactured it the last year and 2 months.

New xbox relases mean that an updated part inside will mean NO MORE RED RINGS!! !! !! !! !! !
