I don't feel betrayed by God as much as I am angry at HIm for being the way I am & rejected by others. The Bible says we are to serve others. How do you serve when people are repulsed by you?

Nature is a good place to find God, although you can find God anywhere. Some places make it easier.

During my days of magical thinking i felt God's presence everywhere. Which could be sort of a buzzkill frankly.

But even then, when i went to nature, what i found was nature.

This thread is interesting to me because I've seen a number of "atheists" who behave as though they are angry at god. Perhaps that is a phenomenon that is more common with NT people. To have atheism on an emotional rather than rational basis, I mean.

i have a rational stance on it, and idk if we get mad at the God as much as we get mad at the followers, because i know that generally its the followers i have problems with

Look for the bad followers, and you'll find them. Look for the good, and you'll find them, too. Which are you looking for, and why?

i dont, i try and find people who share my views and i somehow manage to come across a lot of religious people i dont like, dont worry your not too bad, aside from religious differences i dont have any problem with you but there are a few on here i dont care much for

By doing the unnoticed and/or solitary work. Or by going to those who are just as rejected. Not fun, but we're not promised fun.

Just as a matter of curiosity, what are we promised?

These days it's probably more effective than being mad at politics.
