What I did (when I exposed your emotionalism ) was prove that your argument is invalid. I did not prove that its conclusion is not true. I did that later when I gave primary sources.
There is a difference between validity and truth.
For example, here is an argument that is both valid and true.
1. All men are mortal.
2. Socrates was a man.
3. Therefore,. Socrates was mortal.
Here is an argument that is valid but not true,
1. All Martians eat snakes.
2. Bob is a Martian.
3. Therefore,. Bob eats snakes.
Here is an argument that is true and yet invalid.
1. Obama is president of the USA.
2. North Carolina is part of the USA.
3. Therefore, the earth goes around the sun.

If there is no global warming than why did I get bumped a climate zone?I was zone 6,now I'm zone 7.Armadillos are now up into Missouri.Migratory birds are showing up in places they didn't.Whether it is man made, or natural,it's happening.I would think it would be prudent to assume that it is caused by us,so we should do things to try and prevent it.Better to error on the side of caution since we have only this planet.We have not found a new one to f*^k up yet.
The old timers here remember when it got cold enough to freeze the Buffalo so you could skate on it, when you butchered your meat could hang outside and freeze.The eighty year old that grew up on my home place said they had a sled trail cut thru the woods to the store.

But right now there is no business in stopping global warming, just keep buying more stuff to make the situation worse until someone invents a way to charge people to clean it up again.

I remember when ice fishing was common in Michigan. Now it is almost non-existent! A friend of mine is from Texas. He is a hunter. He told me that duck season is almost non-existent in Texas because the birds stay up north!! !

The word liberal comes from a Latin root meaning 'freedom.' Since I believe that all interactions among adults should be voluntary, I am certainly a liberal -- as the American founders were liberals, and more recently the likes of Mises, Hayek, Rand.

The current gang infesting Washington, and their supporters, are absolutely not liberals, but statists, convinced that some greater good can come from driving men at gunpoint. In fact this is the most consistently illiberal administration the US has ever seen. Unfortunately most of the other party are statists as well, just in a slightly different way ...
