a Person who does not believe in any Afterlife.
As a Person who does not believe in any Afterlife or Heaven after Death after this Life. I think we as People as Humans should try to make this life Heaven a Heaven on Earth in my view Heaven and Hell are states of mind in this life on this Planet Earth many Religions teach no Afterlife but do teach Heaven is a state of mind. I believe that Heaven is a state of mind in this life here on Earth because it gives me Comfort it makes me feel good and or feel better about life.
What is Atheism?
“Your petitioners are atheists and they define their beliefs as follows. An atheist loves his fellow man instead of god. An atheist believes that heaven is something for which we should work now – here on earth for all men together to enjoy.

Some atheists simply say: I have no evidence to suppose that God exists.
Simple as that.

That sounds like humanism.

Why can't a man love both God and Man?

Why can't a man love both God and Man?
Why does humanity need to love a God which it can't say exists with any certainty? How many Gods must people say exist before humanity will forego pumping up its own importance with a link to an uncertain and questionable divinity? How many people must use some overwhelming power to back up their actions in order to deflect reason when necessary? How many men must die for causes that are futile and selfish, as indeed they are, when the only reason for believeing what they do is a construct where faith patches the cracks in the edifice of their belief?
Too many dead. Too many half-answered questions. Too much recoiling from reality and pleading with a non-existent reality. If alien sapients were to land on this planet today, can we really say we are proud of ourselves when we find that again there are more deities that could exist, all of which are false? Will we be the only people who are so mean as to slaughter each other in the name of untrue beliefs? I think mankind should be least proud of itself in the phenomenon of religion.
