what is being claimed by the climate-change alarmists is that all of this is being caused by man which is a load of balony.
I wasn't aware you'd devoted years of your life to studying these things, Inuyasha? But your clearly profound knowledge of the subject is really shining through now, though. Why, you're even using yourself as a source!
Do you not perhaps think, even for a second, that the increasing amounts of filth being poured into a limited (and pillaged) resource will, in time, affect any self-repairing mechanism that resource may have? Or do you just see the Earth as some sort of limitless, magically self-replenishing dustbin?
Even you must realise that if you keep shoving dirt under the carpet, sooner or later it's going to be too lumpy to walk on it.

You know its kind of sad that many of the arguments my occasional opponents make remind me of Ricky from Trailer Park Boys

Cornflake. Magic is what Inuyasha's political beliefs run on. Of course bad things don't happen if he wants to argue against them. That's the creed of every Fox News Republican.

I envy Inuyasha's ability to avoid acknowledging reality. I wish I could do the same as my reality is usually lame

I just know a little more of what was going on during the climategate than you two do, because I actually had my internship at Goddard Space Flight Center at the time this scandal came out, and the climate scientists at Goddard were pissed off at the climate scientists in Britain, according to someone whom worked at Goddard full time whom worked in security.
There is something more there than what the media tried to lead people to believe. I have learned to be overly cynical about everything anymore.

Apparently you don't since you still even refer to it as if its some sort of smoking gun despite the fact that it turned out, unsurprisingly, to have been a situation typically taken out of context and cherry picked to support an ideological position. Also, adding "gate" to a political situation's title is no longer impressive as a political tool, if it ever was

How about the fact that the people doing the "investigating" were the people who were accused of cooking the books in the first place?

That's not even closely accurate, for one main reason: the books were not being "cooked", which was later confirmed by the paragon of the denialist movement, Richard Muller, in his independent, skeptical investigation, furthermore causing him to be disowned by your fellow ostriches. Besides the fact that the whole "trick" comment was taken completely out of context by your dark masters

So some gossip from an anonymous security guard counts as a source?Quote:
There is something more there than what the media tried to lead people to believe. I have learned to be overly cynical about everything anymore.
Interesting, but it doesn't really explain why you quote Faux News.So not only do you seem to believe that the Earth is an everlasting waste disposal unit, you also believe there's some great conspiracy going on in which groups of long-standing and published scientists the world over are huddling together and cooking up some scam (purpose unclear) - and they're able to control the media?
Or they're just all somehow mistaken - but cook up the scam anyway because they're a bit bored.
Meanwhile, we have this to think on:

To think that little ol' you had the answer all along.

Except he wasn't a a skeptic when he made the "independent investigation."
@ Cornflake
1. I've found Fox News, despite what the left wing pundits claim, is a valid news source.
2. The guy had clearence to get past the security checkpoint at Goddard's Gate, so he obviously was a Goddard employee.
3. Do you remember the name of everyone you have met, even from over a year ago?

That's not what your ilk were saying when he commenced it

2. I didn't say he wasn't an employee. I was questioning the level of knowledge and detail a security guard would have. So he heard some scientists say they were pissed off. And? Is that supposed to be evidence of something?

1. I actually used to watch MSNBC, they lost my trust. I suggest you read Bias and Arrogance, both by Bernard Goldberg.
2.
a. He wasn't a lowball security guard, he was much higher up the ladder.
b. They were upset because the numbers had been screwed with and it made them look bad, when they had nothing to do with it other than taking the information based on trust.
3. I'm asking you this, because you are asking me to do this.
Cornflake wrote:
You should re-read what Vigilans said. No-one was cooking anything.
"much higher up the ladder" still means nothing of substance.
Nope; still don't get point 3.

1. Yeah they were, cooking the books cause they were changing numbers.
2. You are asking me to remember the position and the name of someone I talked to over a year ago.
3. Why are you asking me to remember the names of everyone I talked to over a year ago, while you are saying that you don't see the point in me asking you the same question.
