I blame a two-party system that keep two fallacious ideologies in power, and a media that convinces people that no other system is possible.

The Dems haven't screwed up the country enough yet for voters to be angry enough to hand power back to the Repubs. That day will come, and when it does the Repubs will provide their own unique brand of running the nation into the ground until voters get PO'd enough to hand power back to the Dems.

Rinse and repeat.

Neither side has to be accountable for anything, because they just have to wait long enough for the other side to screw things up sufficiently. Then the blame-game resumes and they're back in power.

But... let's assume that I was being completely straightforward in my communication. Which, in spite of irony, I was, in a certain sense. The number of people who complain about the status of this country and place blame, but ignore the fact that our government is of, by and for the people (in lip service), and do not demand a change beyond spitting vitriol is disturbing and nauseating. I blame the government for letting the people believe that their vote actually makes a difference when we are actually an oligarchy. So... in that sense, it wasn't ironic at all...

BUT, my question still stands... where did I imply, state, or hint at your conclusion? I didn't.
