The Neanderthal will try to impose his rights on us. The Neanderthal could never understand our morality especially if we were to evolve into an angelic society like "Brave New World".

Two types of people, farmers and hunters (well, three today; shoppers).

I'm sure he or she would grow up like any other human for the most part.

The Neanderthal would seek out people like himself.

Would the Neanderthal be able to speak modern languages and what would their voice sound like?

He would most likely bring the choir down a whole octave.

What makes you say that? Do we really know how advanced the neanderthal brain is? It is possible that he could have some understanding of our morality if raised by modern humans. The neanderthal brain was about the same size as ours; we just have no idea how advanced it was compared to ours, at least from what I know.

I think that previous efforts to bring back mammoths were unsuccessful.

What say ye about the ethics of bringing back extinct humanoids?

How would that work. What would be the male material. What would be the female material. Human eggs and neanderthal sperm are not compatible.

I am thinking there would be a cloning process of some kind...It would involve Neanderthal DNA strands.

The presence of Neanderthal DNA in our genome would imply otherwise.

Who knows?

Maybe by "resurrecting" the Neanderthals, science can find a cure for Neurotypical Spectrum Disorder ... ;)

1-4% I believe for those of European descent.

There is still debate about whether the neanderthal is a separate species or subspecies of Homo Sapiens.

Actually, Neanderthal DNA is present with all humans, save for those in Africa, which was Homo Sapien Sapien (modern humans) central.
