Fess up ... which two people think that Arnold Schwarzenegger was a U.S. President?

He was never even in the running.

On girth I'd say Taft.

I voted for Jefferson,only because he was an avid gardener.
I have no use for Old Hickory.
Teddy is all right,I read that he really charged up San Juan hill on a mule,not a horse.
And that he let his kids ride a pony in the White House,talk about a fun dad.

I'd have to give GW the most props for making the American experiment even get off of the ground.

As for the Roosevelts and Wilson - that whole group gives me chills.

Abraham Lincoln was our first Proto-Fascist President.

I believe his bathtub agrees (although the circumstances about that incident are still somewhat unclear). And even if Chris Christie should become President some day, he would probably not reach the same weight as Taft.

Taft did, however, achieve something unique other than his capacity for acquiring mass: He is the only person in the US to have served as both the head of the Executive (President) and head of the Judiciary (Chief Justice).

Lincoln was the tallest, though.

(even unreconstructed southerners rarely have anything good to say about him- the partyline is to worship the confederacy's generals,and to scapegoat the Confederacy's politicians- worship Lee- throw Davis under the bus.)

My real choice is Arnold Schwartznegger.

Being governor of the state of california in the late 20th and early 21st centurey means you administered over a population ten times that of the whole USA under George Washington, and about the same population size as that of the whole USA under Lincoln.

So why NOT put the Governator on the list?

He did an okay job. Conservative in some ways, liberal in others. And he only had one major sex scandal, and no other kinda scandals that have yet come to light. Cant be too picky these days. So I pick him.

Jeff Davis does have a really good pie named for him.
And I loved my Lincoln log set.

I confess, I've never heard of a Jeff Davis pie.

But seriously- Lincoln, with Washington as a close second. Washington for choosing to be president (and not for life) and not being a king. As several above have pointed out-that alone is huge But I still pick lincoln for getting us throught the civil war, freeing the slaves, and setting an example of charity and forgiveness.

TR wouldve been the coolest to hang with though.

Jeff Davis Pie from Fat Ass Aunt Susie's cookbook
2 C sugar
4 eggs
11/2 Tbsp sugar
1 C milk
1 stick butter,softened
1/8 tsp salt
2 tsp vanilla
Cream sugar and butter,beat in eggs one at a time until creamy,stir in milk and vanilla,salt.
Pour into chilled crust,bake at 350 until golden brown and set.

Buttermilk pie and vinegar pie are also good.

The story is the Yankees carried off most of the food and this pie came about by women using what they had to make tasty food for their families.
