Yeah, it's a done deal. I'm sorry, it's over.

The net is still neutral up here in Canada though, which is nice.

It was not neutrality. You're telling me Obama, the same man that pushed for SOPA(Before he backed out of his support due to outrage) and CISPA made a policy with the FCC to keep the internet neutral? Really? All this does is move regulation to the FTC, which still has consumer protection laws. All this does is give the FCC less control. Under title II, the internet could be regulated and censored in the same form that cable is. The funny thing is, people are so upset over Trump about this, while this actually gives Trump less power over the internet.

Means Comcast and Verizon can jack up prices, slow down competition and screw over customers. Comcast already tried it with Netflix and got smacked down via net neutrality, now they can do it all they want.

well, aren't you optimistic.

there's always the possibility that this could go to court. the fact that the largest free marketplace was throttled in such a way without even a public hearing is just absurd.

either way, i guess this just means that things will go back to the way they were in....2015?

and why the hell would anyone want that?

how many times do we have to tell these suits to keep their filthy mitts off the internet?

I like the idea that I can pay more to have "priority access".

It's like "VIP lines".
