I would, but I'm shamelessly biased. :P

Anyone else who'd vote for me?

Who'd like to be VP?

No, I dislike democracy, sorry. If you raise an army and carve out an empire of your own, I might support you depending on treatment of prisoners, development initiatives, diplomacy, etc.

Monarchies and Empires do have their benefits, but I'm no Julius Caesar.

I wouldn't kill or harm anyone who can't defend themselves though, if such a case were to be.

I haven't read you enough to know what your positions would be, and I haven't met you so I don't know how effective you would be. Sell me on both counts, and sure, I could vote for you.

no. you're ineligible to be president of the United States. Even if you got written in, and won, you wouldn't be allowed to take office so whats the point?

How am I ineligible? I'm a native born US citizen. No criminal record. What's to prevent me?

You're not 35 or older.

You're 22. Try reading the Constitution.

I can wait. Still, that doesn't change this thread qualitatively.

This is said all in love and I hope it is taken that way: How vary Aspie to check the poster's age, to look at the real facts here.

I'd vote for you if....
-You were against amnesty for illegal immigrants
-You were against starting wars with other countries (like Iraq)
-You were anti-globalization
-You were against hate crime/speech laws and instead supported the most important part of the constitution, the first amendment
-You were against affirmative action
-You were against NAFTA, the NAU, etc. etc.

Those are my main issues at this point.

if i could.i am aussie, so i can't.
one of my TAFE teachers was in america during the democratic primarys. he was in the hotel where the voting was happening. for some reason they tried to force him into a room so he could vote for Hillary.
they just collect people stick them a room (one for each side) and count them. They let my teacher out as soon as he told them he was aussie.

the way voting goes here is that people fill in forms.

People should migrate legally, so the naturalization process should be simpler.
Also, if people want to come here to get money, they should stay here and pay taxes too.

Cyanide wrote:

Depends. If a threat is immanent and certain with all or enough factors known, should it not be acted on? Otherwise, starting a war would be unnecessary and not happen.

Cyanide wrote:

Yes, globalization is not a good idea.

Cyanide wrote:

Yes, the "hate" and "crime" speech laws are stupid. Kids are also taught poorly too and I hear quite a few of them say things like "I'll kill you" or "I wish they were dead" or "I'd like to...". If they don't learn any better before they find work and say the wrong thing to the wrong person/people, they could lose their job and possibly a lot worse for a statement meant for emphasis only of frustration at lazy coworkers.

Cyanide wrote:

Qualifications or random selection only, depending on required skill level.

I am ignorant of this aspect of political corruption. What is it?

As we have a long time ahead to come, this could likely be a Single World Government, in which case, if I were to be VP and sharing power and have the best privileges anyone can think of, then yes, of course, no matter the type of government ;)
Otherwise I wouldn't :P

ditto-I noticed it and was thinking that's what he was referring to....

...and the whole 'pre-existing office'
