No, because Santa is Satan.

- Santa is an anagram for Satan

- They're both big and red

It really annoys me when people think that because Santa Claus/Father Christmas/the Easter Bunny etc. aren't real it means that God isn't real.

Where in the Bible does it say that satan is red?

Anyway, 'santa' just means 'saint'. 'Santa' is not the same as 'Santa Claus' which means 'Saint Nicholas'.

A 'Father Christmas' has nothing to do with the nativity either, nor do most of the other Christmas traditions.

Yes. As evidence, please note the tendency of adults to pray to Sant-God whenever they want something, rather than exerting serious effort towards earning said object.

You could certainly draw comparisons, but that would be a gross over simplification of both god and santa.

No one uses that as a reason for not believing in God. Santa Claus however can be used as a rather good comparison, both God and Santa Claus are imaginary males that promise you something good if you're on the nice list but if you're on the naughty one they give you something bad. Understand a bit better?

I've always thought of Santa Claus as some kind of modern personification of Christmas and what the Christmas season is supposed to mean. Santa Claus as we know him today is a marketing gimmick invented by the Coca-Cola Company around the turn of the 20th century.
But of course he is much more than that. He has so many incarnations, all of which are equally real.
