In The Social Network, Jessie Eisenburg portrays Zuckerberg with many Aspie traits. There's even a scene where he rocks gently back and forth. There are several scenes that serve very little purpose other than to communicate that Zuckerberg has AS.

If you want to look at some alternatives to Facebook, Truebook and Diaspora are just about ready to start up.

Would an Aspie create anything social?

That's just it can you really consider Facebook truly social. From my Aspie prospective it's great because there are certain aspects of human communication that do not occur socially on facebook.

I tend to be highly obsessive on what makes NT's tick. All that free flowing eloquence and gossip had me scratching my head such as all that small talk in school locker rooms about who is hot and who is not. What a great opportunity for someone with high functioning autism or Asperger Syndrome to break it all down into code and flowcharts and founder a revolutionary new website on it. Facebook then would then be like an aspie's last laugh on a largely neurotypical world.

I hate facebook.

It turns the internet into a NT haven where they should have kept off with their annoying chiot.

There I said it.

I always thought geniuses can't be normal by definition.
If they are not Asperger's, then they are different for other reasons. If autism will become something to be not afraid opr scared of, maybe they will declare to have it.
To reach this goal it is essential to promote knowledge and acceptance for people on the spectrum.

Did you just call the creator of this atrocity a genius?

I disagree.
