I've been participating in that. My profile pic is of my childhood hero and first ever imaginary friend, Balto. :)

So, that's what all the recent profile changes were about. 8)

It makes about zero sense to me, so I just kept my normal picture posted.

I don't think I've updated it for a few months now.

I was just told to put a cartoon as my profile pic, and I wasn't about to let my chance to have Pinky and the Brain represented on my profile slip away.

Sorry to say this but apparently it was actually by Paedophiles as a scheme to get kids to accept their friend request, NSPCC denied any part in it. Oh well, I'm still keeping Dexter (Dexter's Laboratory) as my profile picture.

As far as how posting cartoon characters in the profile is supposed to help in the fight against Child Violence, I dont get it either.

I think it's just an awareness tactic.

I dont put a pic in my profile anyway. Just a stupid message saying "still no pic, eat my dust!"

I took part in that. I changed my profile picture to that of Dexter from Dexter's Laboratory.

There was also a "change your profile picture to your favorite Pokemon" craze not long ago. I changed my profile picture to that of Ditto.

I can't wait for the next one, whatever it will be. :)
